Fresh Food Generation got rolling with their new food truck in April. The food truck and catering business was started by Cassandria Campbell and Jackson Renshaw, two Boston residents who met as young people working at The Food Project, where they were inspired to find innovative ways to improve healthy food access for all Bostonians. They focus on sourcing fresh ingredients from local farmers and producers, and creating healthy meal options with a Latin and Caribbean flare. In 2014, Cassandria and Jackson were named by Zagat as two of the 30 under 30 food companies to watch in Boston.
