Roslindale resident, Sherie Grillon, started Nola’s Fresh Food in 2012. At college in Texas, she developed a passion for tex-mex flavors and cuisine. She created her own unique salsa in that spirit to share with friends who demanded more. The market agrees and sales of her two products: Salsa Fresca and Fire Roasted Corn and Black Bean Salsa have been growing in popularity, doubling its orders from last year.
